Join the Venue Management team at UF Performing Arts where we bring moments of meaning to life! The Venue Manager on Duty provides direct support to the Lead Venue Manager in many aspects of facility and event management and are a part of a larger Venue Management Team across our three UFPA venues. The Venue Manager on Duty (MOD) is a key member of the UF Performing Arts Venue Management team, providing on-site leadership during events across our three UFPA venues: The Phillips Center for Performing Arts, the University Auditorium, and the Baughman Center. This role supports the Director of Operations by overseeing event operations, front-of-house activity, safety procedures, and customer service during assigned shifts either as part of a larger team or a shift lead. The Venue Manager on Duty serves as the primary venue representative during a show or event in the absence of senior management. This is a part-time, hourly position with variable scheduling predominantly on nights and weekends, with occasional daytime and holiday hours for the upcoming 2026-2027 season running from September 2026- June 2027. Anticipated interview dates in late August/early September with tentative start date of September 11th 2026.
