About The Position
Tallahassee State College (TSC) is seeking a dedicated OPS Lab Assistant for the Division of Science and Math. This part-time position involves supporting lab operations, ensuring a vibrant workplace community, and contributing to student success. The role requires a passion for education and student success, along with technical expertise in a lab setting.
Requirements
- Lab experience, including undergraduate course labs
- Enjoys and excels at lab work
- Likes varied work - no two weeks will be alike
Responsibilities
- Setting up labs according to the lab set up manuals
- Restocking labs while the weekly sequence of lab sections are running
- Clearing away labs when the sequence of lab sections is over
- Moving equipment and reagents
- Handling hazardous waste
- Making solutions
- Microbiological procedures
