This position is responsible for receiving, reviewing, evaluating, and processing construction mining complaints, investigations, and applications to determine eligibility for licensure. The role involves monitoring activities for continued compliance and independently evaluating qualifications and licensure criteria in accordance with Florida Statutes, laws, and rules. The analyst will also provide direction to staff regarding complaints filed against licensed professionals and facilities. Additionally, the position involves maintaining the Construction Material Mining complaint website and related web-based content, acting as a liaison between the Bureau and various interdepartmental entities, reviewing and approving program purchase requests, and monitoring and preparing reports of monthly statistical data related to construction mining. The role also includes preparing and consulting in the development of key procedures, guidelines, rules, and legislation for construction mining within the Bureau of Fire Prevention. A security background check, including fingerprinting, is required as a condition of employment.
