About The Position

The position is responsible for retrieving incoming mail from the United States Postal Service each day and transporting it to the Department of Health mailroom for processing. Duties include sorting all incoming mail and packages and ensuring accurate distribution to the appropriate program areas and recipients. The role also includes delivering mail throughout the campus in a timely and secure manner, as well as receiving, logging, and checking in all FedEx, UPS, and other carrier deliveries to verify package counts and ensure proper routing. The employee maintains the organization and operational readiness of the mailroom and provides additional support for mailroom functions as needed to ensure continuity of operations.

  • Experience working in a mailroom, warehouse, or similar operational environment
  • Familiarity with USPS, FedEx, and UPS delivery processes
  • Experience with sorting, logging, or distributing mail or packages
