About The Position

Apogee is seeking an OPIR Training & Analytic Liaison Analyst to support the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) mission at Wright Patterson AFB in Dayton, Ohio. The role develops and delivers phenomenology-based advanced target analytical training for OPIR systems and serves as a liaison between NASIC/GSP analysts and external development partners. It bridges intelligence operations and technical development so analysts have the knowledge and tools needed for mission success. The position is contingent upon contract award and is on-site, with occasional travel. The analyst designs and delivers training programs on PIR/OPIR exploitation techniques, phenomenology, sensor operations, and analytical tradecraft. Training work includes developing curricula, presentations, exercises, case studies, hands-on labs, and realistic scenarios; conducting classroom, virtual, and workshop sessions; mentoring analysts; assessing proficiency and training effectiveness; and updating content based on feedback, evolving threats, sensor capabilities, and analytic methods. The role also supports use case and user story development for analytic tools and capabilities. It works with analysts to document and validate operational workflows and requirements, creates testable user stories with acceptance criteria, and coordinates with development teams on analytic workflows and user needs. As a liaison between NASIC/GSPM analysts and NGA/Q development organizations, the analyst communicates mission context, translates operational needs into technical requirements, represents analyst interests in joint planning, and supports integration of NASIC ISR capabilities into Air Force ISR systems and operational structures.
