About The Position

Marietta Eye Clinic is a physician-led ophthalmology practice serving the Atlanta region since 1967. The organization has 41 providers, 14 locations, and two ambulatory surgery centers. This is an opportunity for a glaucoma specialist to build a long-term practice within a multispecialty eye care network, with established referral sources, immediate patient demand, dedicated support staff, and opportunities for practice growth and physician engagement. The position is a 100% outpatient glaucoma practice, with primary locations in Marietta, Cartersville, and West Cobb. The expected schedule includes approximately 35 patients per day, 10–20 surgical cases per week, and 8–15 laser procedures per week. Initially, surgery and laser procedures are scheduled every other week, with the opportunity to expand as volume grows. The physician will take practice call for approximately six one-week assignments per year, with additional compensation; there are no hospital call requirements. The physician will have a lead ophthalmic technician, a scribe, and additional technical staff, and access to two surgery centers with a combined seven operating rooms. The practice offers competitive compensation with earning potential in the high percentiles, additional compensation for call coverage, and relocation assistance. Both 2027 fellows and experienced glaucoma specialists are encouraged to apply.
