About The Position

Marietta Eye Clinic is seeking a glaucoma specialist to join its physician-led multispecialty ophthalmology practice serving the Atlanta region. The practice has 41 providers, 14 locations, and two ambulatory surgery centers, with established referral sources and immediate patient demand. Primary locations include Marietta, Cartersville, and West Cobb.

This is a 100% outpatient practice with approximately 35 patients per day. The anticipated workload includes 10–20 surgical cases and 8–15 laser procedures per week. Surgery and laser procedures are initially scheduled every other week, with an opportunity to expand as volume grows. Practice call is approximately six one-week assignments per year, with additional compensation; there are no hospital call requirements.

The physician will have dedicated support from a lead ophthalmic technician, a scribe, and additional technical staff, and access to two surgery centers with a combined seven operating rooms. The clinic describes a collaborative, physician-engaged culture with leadership involvement and opportunities to influence practice growth. The opportunity is open to 2027 fellows and experienced glaucoma specialists.

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Ophthalmology.
