About The Position

Eyetastic Services is seeking a dedicated Glaucoma Specialist (MD or DO) to join an ophthalmology team. The role focuses on glaucoma management and surgery, with travel between Hillsborough and Pinellas Counties. The team emphasizes personalized, high-quality care, continuous learning, and community engagement.

The physician will provide comprehensive glaucoma care and perform a range of glaucoma procedures. Patient volume is expected to be 30–40 or more patients per day, depending on the practice and support staff availability. Scribes and technicians provide support to help enhance patient flow.

The schedule is 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Compensation is competitive and based on productivity, with a tiered structure rewarding higher performance. A sign-on bonus or relocation assistance may be negotiable. Malpractice insurance is provided for W-2 employees. Opportunities for personal investment in the parent company, including shareholder options, are available.

Requirements

• MD or DO.
• Board certification is required.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in glaucoma surgery is preferred; 2026 fellowship graduates and new graduates will also be considered.
• Spanish proficiency is helpful but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Perform glaucoma surgeries, including SLTs, CPCs, LPIs, MIGs, tubes/shunts, and trabeculectomy.
• Provide comprehensive glaucoma care to patients.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality care.
• See approximately 30–40 or more patients per day, depending on practice and support staff availability.
