About The Position
Eye Center of North Florida is seeking a fellowship-trained Glaucoma/Cataract surgeon for a full-time opportunity in North Florida. The rapidly growing, multi-location, multispecialty practice has well-equipped offices, a full staff, and an electronic health record system. The role offers access to additional resources and a partnership program through the practice’s affiliation with EyeSouth Partners, as well as corporate support services intended to reduce physicians’ administrative burden and improve clinical efficiency. The broader network includes more than 300 ophthalmologists and optometrists. Experienced hires may be eligible for partnership after 1–2 years; residents and fellows may be eligible after 2–3 years. The practice provides a range of eye-care services and technologies, including LipiFlow dry eye treatment, low-vision rehabilitation, Optos retinal imaging, macular degeneration care, genetic testing and Macula Risk testing, dropless cataract surgery, refractive procedures, cosmetic specialties, contact lenses, and an optical shop.
Requirements
- Fellowship training in glaucoma and cataract surgery.
- Board certified or board eligible.
- Willingness to work with the current medical staff to manage an established significant surgical volume.
