Requirements

  • Valid Texas driver's license with a satisfactory driving record required
  • Ability to communicate, talk and hear in person and by telephone
  • Ability to use hands to handle and manipulate objects or controls, and reach with hands and arms
  • Ability to stoop, kneel, bend, and crouch
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds
  • Specific vision abilities required: viewing multiple computer screens, close vision, distance vision, depth perception, color vision and the ability to adjust focus
  • Ability to view images and operate computer devices constantly

Nice To Haves

  • Spanish bilingual skills are a plus

Responsibilities

  • Gathering medical histories
  • Performing vision testing
  • Completing imaging and other diagnostic testing
  • Preparing exam rooms
  • Documenting clinical information
  • Assisting physicians during examinations, treatments, and procedures
  • Listening to patient concerns and helping them feel comfortable and cared for
  • Traveling between clinics (company transportation available)
