Northwest Eyes is a progressive ophthalmic medical and surgical practice seeking a Patient Educator-Ophthalmic Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll work in a team-oriented clinical environment dedicated to providing outstanding patient care. Responsibilities include accurately documenting and summarizing ocular examinations and treatment recommendations, maintaining efficient patient flow, and assisting Ophthalmologists with a variety of clinical functions such as patient workups, diagnostic testing, and in-office procedures. You may also administer eye medications, apply dressings, and educate patients on post-visit care and treatment plans. A key focus of this position is patient education. This role involves educating patients about premium vision correction options and effectively communicating the value of these services before they consult with the physician. This position plays a key role in promoting advanced eye care solutions by guiding patients through available treatment options, addressing common questions, and supporting informed decision-making.
