About The Position
Emplify Health is hiring an Ophthalmic Assistant to support the department's eye care practices. This role is responsible for assisting with patient care functions, including pre-testing for appointments, performing various diagnostic tests, and supporting providers in delivering quality patient care. No prior optical experience is required. The position involves working 40 hours each week, Monday through Fridays, during the day, with no weekends or holidays. The primary location is Decorah, IA, with opportunities to assist at other Emplify optometry locations across Wisconsin and Iowa. The goal is to provide a quality optical experience to patients and guests.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalency
- At least 6 months customer service and/or public relations experience
