The Role You will operate state-of-the-art plastic extrusion equipment to produce high-quality specialty films. Working in a collaborative environment, you'll monitor production quality, troubleshoot equipment issues, and participate in our comprehensive training program while contributing to sustainable packaging solutions that make a real difference. Schedule: Open to a variety of schedules, including Day, 2nd, and Night Shifts, weekends, and 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts.

Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 65 pounds
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort with measuring tools
  • Strong communication skills and positive attitude
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a technical environment
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening

Responsibilities

  • Performs duties in a manner that adheres to safety policies and procedures.
  • Understand pouch layouts.
  • Set-up pouch machines.
  • Produce pouches per specifications.
  • Complete all QC testing per procedures.
  • Pack pouches in according to specified packing spec.
  • Label & barcode finished and packed pouches per specifications.
  • Complete pouches per specifications.
  • Mechanical Aptitude to be able to solve machine problems.
  • Computer skills to be able to complete production information into information system and print necessary labels.
  • Able to read a layout to be able to set up a pouch machine to specifications.
  • Perform housekeeping and preventative maintenance tasks as required to maintain equipment.
  • Maintain good interaction and teamwork with supervisor and co-workers
  • Give assistance to co-workers to expedite changeovers
