About The Position

Vicor is hiring Operators for its second-shift operations in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. Operators assemble and test power modules on an automated VI Chip PCB Assembly line, supporting manufacturing processes for products used in areas including AI, electric vehicles, and aerospace. The schedule is Monday through Friday, either 3:00–11:00 PM or 3:30–11:30 PM, depending on the work center. The role requires working with a minimum of direct supervision and following company quality, safety, and cost guidelines.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to understand written and verbal instructions.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly and test-related tasks on an automated VI Chip PCB Assembly line using written or verbal instructions.
• Operate work-center equipment to achieve standard production rates.
• Report equipment downtime or malfunctions and monitor work-center output for conformance to specifications.
• Use microscopes, hand tools, measurement equipment, and test equipment to perform daily tasks.
• Cross-train and certify in at least four package assembly work centers, including SMD, Underfill, Transformer Assembly, Mold, Laser Mark, Cut, J-Lead, or Test.
• Perform responsibilities within company quality, safety, and cost guidelines.
• Work with a minimum of direct supervision.
• Perform additional tasks as requested or directed.
