About The Position

Green Circle Growers Inc. is seeking an Operator for their facility in OBERLIN, OH. This role involves performing repetitive jobs on machines, monitoring them constantly, and performing minor repairs. In automated setups, operators may manage multiple machines simultaneously and are responsible for tracking production output. They must notify the Plant Manager of any downtime within 15 minutes, assist in machine maintenance and cleaning, and support the training of new and existing crew members. The role may also involve driving electric carts and climbing ladders.

• Must be reliable; Regular attendance and punctuality is a requirement of this position
• Must be approachable; Able to communicate in a friendly, professional and courteous manner
• Self-motivated and possess strong problem-solving skills
• Willing to work independently; Have good organizational skills and attention to detail
• Willing to work evening, holidays and occasional weekends as scheduled by Supervisor/Manager
• Able to work harmoniously with other employees from a variety of backgrounds
• Able to stand/walk 8+ hours
• Able to bend/squat
• Able to lift up to 20 pounds; Up to 50lbs for some jobs
• Able to push/pull loaded plant carts weighing up to 200 lbs; 300 lbs. for some jobs
• Able to work with small equipment or willing to learn these skills
• Must be able to adhere to safety policies and procedures (safety-conscious)
• Must be able to adapt to changing working conditions
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of one-year experience as machine operator
• Must be able to speak English

• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus

Responsibilities
