About The Position

Feed Energy is hiring an Operator at its Pacific Junction plant, which is expanding with new technology and processes. The Operator works with production systems to support safe, efficient plant operations and product quality. The role offers a pay-for-skills progression and opportunities for advancement as new technology and processes are introduced. The required schedule is 6 AM–6 PM on a 2-2-3 rotation, with a built-in overtime schedule. Starting pay is $22.00 per hour, and operators are eligible for quarterly bonuses. Employment is contingent on passing a background check and drug screen. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored visa support; the company does not sponsor employment visas.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to operate computer systems, including Microsoft Outlook, PIMS, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
• Ability to read and write English and perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Must pass a background check and drug screen.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored visa support.

Responsibilities

• Follow standard operating procedures during daily operations.
• Inspect safety equipment and follow safety rules and standards.
• Prepare machinery for operation.
• Maintain plant operations records and logs.
• Operate valves and pumps to move products between tanks.
• Monitor product temperatures and pH, as well as product processing and transfer times.
• Monitor product quality and take and maintain samples as required by procedures.
• Load and unload trailers and rail cars.
• Operate a shag tractor to spot trailers.
• Perform housekeeping duties as assigned by the Shift Lead, Operations Supervisor, and Plant Management.
• Demonstrate company values in everyday work interactions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
