About The Position

As part of Lactalis’s manufacturing group, the Operator-Yoplait X supports production packaging and processing operations, sanitation, and startup, changeover, and shutdown of operating equipment. This is a third-shift role, scheduled from 11:00 p.m. to 7:10 a.m., at a plant that operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Starting pay is $23.23 per hour, plus a $0.50 shift differential. Pay increases occur every six months based on meeting performance expectations. The position requires completing a forklift certification course and driving a forklift. Employees must be willing and able to work overtime on any shift, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Internal candidates must have been in their current role for at least six months and have no active CA's within the past 12 months. Applicants must meet physical and workplace requirements that include lifting up to 50 pounds, performing physical tasks for extended periods, working at heights when necessary, wearing required protective clothing and equipment, and working around machinery, allergens, and varied environmental conditions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Two years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Ability and willingness to work overtime on any shift, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must complete a forklift certification course and drive a forklift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to perform physical tasks for extended periods, including standing, walking, climbing, bending, pushing, pulling, and twisting over surfaces.
• Ability to climb and/or work at heights using stairs, ladders, personnel lifts, or platforms.
• Ability to wear required protective clothing and equipment, including safety shoes, face masks, safety glasses, hearing protection, a hard hat, a hair/beard net, and gloves when required.
• Willingness and ability to follow grooming requirements for a food manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work in hot, cold, noisy, dusty, and wet conditions.
• Willingness to work around industrial high-speed moving machinery and allergens present in a food environment.
