About The Position

This is a full-time position on the third shift. The Operator - Tank Area is responsible for various tasks related to material handling, quality control, inventory management, and production reporting within the department. This role requires strong attention to detail, computer skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
Strong computer skills including Microsoft AX, Word, and Excel
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must be well-organized with high attention to detail
Ability to successfully prioritize workload
Ability to perform basic math skills
Ability to perform basic reading skills, such as: reading labels, formulas, and directions
Knowledge of measurement, percentages, and ratios
Ability to communicate and write effectively in English
Dependable and adaptable to a fast pace work environment

Responsibilities

Fill out material worksheets
Fill out all quality forms checks
Consume in the system (AX) material used during production and report any discrepancy to supervisor
Ensure inventory accuracy in the work center
Match retain sample with actual production (validation of quality)
Train and instruct temporary employees
Maintain cleanliness and operation of equipment, and keep work area clean and organized at all times (follow 5s-GMP’s)
Perform department shut down procedures
Inform supervisor of any problems (equipment, material shortages, formulas, and employees) as they occur
Perform allergen change over and have QA sign off before start production
Turn work order packets into supervisor upon completion of the scheduled quantity
Conduct scrap reporting according to procedures
Fill out production report based on completed quantity information from line leader packer
Complete labor report
Run efficiently and follow all procedures related to job responsibilities
Report any safety concern to supervisor
Cross-train in all positions within the department
Take daily inventory to big holding tanks
Inspect and Clean strainer / magnets
Run a continuous process from one shift to the next (tag in tag out)
