About The Position

Perform necessary functions to properly handle and paint metal building components utilizing an electrocoat painting process. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and efficiency, prioritizing the well-being of colleagues and actively contributing to the safety program. The operator will adhere to training guidelines, policies, and procedures, maintain a clean workspace, and proactively identify and address potential hazards. Responsibilities include inspecting product for residue before painting, maintaining quality control standards, and performing routine maintenance on assigned machines. The role also involves operating material handling equipment and working independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, or GED preferred
  • Comfortably and safely lift up to 70 pounds.
  • Operates forklifts, overhead cranes, and other material handling equipment to safely and efficiently transport materials as required.
  • Capable of working independently or as a team with minimum supervision.

  • Maintain compliance to all quality control procedures and standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance of assigned machines.
