About The Position

This role involves operating injection molding machines and other production equipment, inspecting products for quality, performing secondary operations, packaging, and labeling products according to specifications. The operator will also be responsible for identifying and reporting molding problems, completing production logs, maintaining stable mold cycles, and ensuring a clean work area. The position requires working in a cleanroom environment when assigned and performing other duties as directed by management.

Requirements

High school graduate or GED equivalent
Ability to lift fifty pounds or more
Ability to understand visual part aspects
Good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to understand basic safety standards and procedures
Must be able to speak and read English proficiently including good communication skills, both written and oral.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of ISO and Good Documentation practices
Knowledge of ERP software

Responsibilities

Operate injection molding machines
Operate pad printer, sonic welders, heat staker, etc.
Inspect product according to quality plan
Degate, trim, and/or perform additional secondary operations according to the control plan
Package product to customer specifications
Label product containers with ID label according to order activation worksheet
Identify molding problems and notify Molding Technician for corrections
Perform assembly of product as directed per work instructions
Complete daily Production Activity Log
Maintain stable mold cycle
Maintain clean work area
Work in a cleanroom environment as assigned by management
Perform other duties as assigned by management
