About The Position

Performs a wide variety of electronic, mechanical, or electro-mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies. Sets up and operates automatic or semi-automatic machines. May also place labels on packages and include data sheets with products.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 4 years of related experience assembling digital and analog circuitry/devices.
• Demonstrated ability to provide work or lead direction to a team.

• Medical device or related assembly experience.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, repair, inspect, and/or test products following written instructions.
• Set up and operate a variety of machines following written instructions.
• Clean tools and equipment according to documented procedures.
• Record information on approved documents.
• Dispose of hazardous waste in corresponding hazardous waste areas.
• Resolve problems and make routine recommendations.
• Train other employees when necessary.
• Maintain all certifications required to remain in compliance.
• Plan and organize non-routine tasks with approval; initiate or maintain work schedules and establish priorities for work assignments.
• Solve a wide range of complex problems requiring advanced interpretation of generally defined procedures and practices; select methods and practices to develop imaginative, thorough, and practical solutions.
• Understand the organizational structure and positions of key employees, and maintain general knowledge of products and services associated with the area and employees involved with specific product lines and services.
