Operator II, Battery Plant, 1st Shift

About The Position

The Operator II prepares and operates machinery for battery plant production. The role includes tooling and parametrizing machines according to work-order information, monitoring production status and responding to deviations, and controlling machine and production processes in accordance with documented procedures. The operator inspects manufactured parts, identifies and discards defective parts according to protocol, and supports maintenance with machine repairs, downtime prevention, and inspections. The role requires adherence to safety and production rules and proper use of personal protective equipment at all times.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and write clear communication in English.
Ability to operate medium-complexity machinery in a manufacturing environment.
Good visual acuity.
Ability to lift medium-heavy objects if required.
Authorization to work in the United States without an employment visa or other sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

At least one year of experience operating machines in a manufacturing environment.
Experience working with power tools.
Ability to read blueprints.

Responsibilities
