Operator II, Battery Plant, 3rd Shift

About The Position

The Operator II prepares machines for production by tooling and parametrizing them according to work order information. The role monitors production status between and during production sequences, takes action when deviations occur, operates machinery while following documented procedures, and inspects manufactured parts for defects. Defective parts must be discarded according to protocol. The Operator II also supports maintenance with machine repairs, downtime prevention, and inspections, and follows all safety and production rules, including proper use of personal protective equipment.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and write clear communication in English.
Ability to operate medium-complexity machinery in a manufacturing environment.
Good visual acuity.
Ability to lift medium-heavy objects if required.
Must be authorized to work in the United States without employment visa or other sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

Minimum of one year of experience operating machines in a manufacturing environment.
Experience working with power tools.
Ability to read blueprints.

Responsibilities
