The Operator II - Automation Technician will safely operate a variety of automatic equipment and monitor processes to assure proper application of materials. Functions as a team member and contributes to departmental production and quality goals. Performs minor troubleshooting processes and minor preventative maintenance on machines in accordance with operator’s procedures and checklists. Verifies parts are in compliance with quality standards as outlined in operating procedures. The Process Technician is considered an expert of manufacturing processes and equipment. Responsible for adjustments, equipment set-up, autonomous maintenance, daily reports, and training equipment operators to assure production plan is accomplished in a safe, efficient, and productive manner with a high degree of quality in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Operate various forms of equipment and teach new employees' proper operation of the equipment. Responsible for daily productivity in their equipment and data analysis. Lead changeovers and equipment adjustments based on quality and cycle time requirements.
