About The Position

The Operator I, Lettershop is vital in the production and mailing of direct mail campaigns. Duties may include printing, folding, inserting, addressing, and sorting letters, postcards, brochures, or other marketing materials. Ensuring that the direct mail pieces are accurately assembled and processed according to specifications and postal regulations.

Requirements

Production work experience in a detail-oriented and deadline-driven environment.
Ability to identify improper machine operation and make basic adjustments.
Work history of longevity, excellent attendance and responsibility (no job hoppers).
Ability to read and understand job tickets, maintain and document production processes.
High School/GED or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Nice To Haves

Experience working in a Direct Mail/Lettershop and/or Printing environment preferred.
Acquire expertise in USPS postal regulations (knowledge or experience preferred).

Responsibilities

Folding, assembly, inserting, packaging, sorting, and mailing.
Operation of mail production equipment while paying attention to details and deadlines.
Set up and adjust equipment for production runs independently.
Troubleshooting of mailing, sorting, folding, and inserting equipment.
Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning and identify any deviations.
Work with team members and supervisors to optimize production processes and resolve any issues.
