About The Position

At Dover Fueling Solutions (DFS), the Production Operator I sets up, operates, maintains, and troubleshoots manufacturing assembly-line machinery and equipment at fixed workstation positions. The operator uses machinery or equipment to install pieces, parts, or components onto in-process products, assemblies, or subassemblies as they move along the line. The role also involves moving, packing, and sorting raw materials or finished goods; monitoring output quality and identifying products to discard or remanufacture; and maintaining accurate daily assembly production records for manufacturing performance analysis.

This is an entry-level Support 1 position that typically requires little to no prior knowledge or experience. Work is routine or follows standard procedures, is closely supervised, and involves communicating information that requires little explanation or interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot manufacturing assembly-line machinery and equipment at fixed workstation positions.
• Operate machinery or equipment to install parts or components onto in-process products, assemblies, or subassemblies as they move along the assembly line.
• Move, pack, and sort raw materials or finished goods.
• Monitor output quality and identify faulty products for discard or remanufacture.
• Maintain accurate daily assembly production records for manufacturing performance analysis.
