About The Position

The Operator Foreman (Trade Foreman) operates construction equipment proficiently and oversees subcontractor work. The role supports the Superintendent with planning manpower, material quantities, equipment requirements, and other planning functions. It may also include equipment repair and maintenance, recording job details and time worked on equipment using provided tickets, and other duties assigned by a supervisor. The position includes helping resolve workforce complaints and grievances with appropriate assistance from HR and Legal. The employee must follow safety protocols and work in a drug-free environment. Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs.
• Must be able to stoop, bend, sit, and stand for extended periods in all weather conditions.
• Must be able to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.

Nice To Haves

• Three years of industrial construction equipment operator experience preferred.
• Experience managing operator crews and/or subcontractors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate various types of construction equipment at a proficient level.
• Oversee the work of subcontractors.
• Assist the Superintendent with planning manpower levels, material quantities, equipment requirements, and other planning functions.
• Repair and maintain equipment as needed, in addition to other duties.
• Record job details and time worked on each piece of equipment using provided tickets.
• Perform additional duties assigned by the supervisor.
• Confer with supervisory personnel and employees, with appropriate assistance from HR and Legal, to resolve workforce complaints and grievances.
• Adhere to safety protocol and work in a drug-free environment.
