Monitors, maintains, and controls all deliveries of oil into and out of “Harvest Pipeline” pipelines via Scada and satellite monitoring. This role involves reviewing and monitoring prior shifts, checking daily computer logs for accuracy, and managing the process board. The operator will record oil and gas volumes, make necessary changes, and monitor daily flow charts and tank inventory. Maintaining process readings on daily log sheets and responding to process alarms are key responsibilities. Effective communication and collaboration with other Harvest personnel, field operators, producers, and other pipeline control facilities are essential for daily operations, including setting flow rates, managing scheduled and emergency shutdowns, and addressing pressure issues. The role also includes monitoring and maintaining control loops, conducting housekeeping of the control room, and procuring necessary materials. Reading automatic gauges at specified intervals to determine flow rates, and maintaining logs of meter readings, test results, and adjustments are also part of the duties. Adherence to company values, vision, and mission, along with maintaining an established work schedule and availability for 24-hour on-call support, is required. Confidentiality of information and protection of company assets are paramount. Other duties as assigned by management.
