About The Position

We are seeking an Operator 3 – Bakery Production (Mixer) to join our team at our Hazleton, PA bakery. As an Operator 3 – Mixer, you will be accountable for accurately scaling and mixing ingredients to meet product specifications while ensuring quality, safety, and operational efficiency across all production runs.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
Basic math and timekeeping skills
Ability to make logical decisions and follow detailed instructions
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and frequently carry over 20 lbs
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive physical movements throughout the shift
Willingness to work in varying environments (hot, cold, noisy, or confined spaces)

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in a food manufacturing or bakery production environment
Familiarity with SAP or production tracking systems
Experience operating mixing or industrial food production equipment
Understanding of food safety standards and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
Experience training or mentoring team members

Responsibilities

Execute ingredient scaling and mixing processes to meet product specifications and quality standards
Monitor and document production data, including dough temperature, mix times, and ingredient usage
Communicate effectively with production teams to maintain workflow efficiency and minimize downtime
Identify and troubleshoot minor equipment or process issues, escalating when necessary
Ensure compliance with food safety, GMPs, and company safety standards at all times
Maintain accurate records, including lot tracking, production logs, and issue documentation
Support team operations through training, collaboration, and maintaining a clean and organized work area
