Operator 2 (Entry Level) 1st, 2nd, 3rd Shift
About The Position
MacLean Power Systems is seeking Operators for its manufacturing facility in York, South Carolina. The role performs work associated with operating assigned mechanical equipment in a manufacturing environment. The facility has approximately 400 employees. Available schedules and rates are: 1st shift, 7 a.m.–3 p.m. Monday–Friday and every other Saturday 5 a.m.–11 a.m., at $17.50 per hour; 2nd shift, 3 p.m.–11 p.m. Monday–Friday and every other Saturday 11 a.m.–5 p.m., at $18.50 per hour; and 3rd shift, 11 p.m.–7 a.m. Sunday–Thursday and every other Friday 11 p.m.–5 a.m., at $19.00 per hour. All offers are conditional on successful completion of pre-employment screening, including criminal checks, drug testing, and employment and education verification.
Requirements
- Basic technical understanding of machinery.
- Problem-solving skills and safety awareness.
Nice To Haves
- Relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and machine specifications.
Responsibilities
- Operate assigned mechanical equipment and applicable hand tools.
- Complete first-piece inspections as needed.
- Ensure items produced meet quality-control requirements.
- Read and interpret blueprints when applicable.
- Use basic measuring instruments.
- Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately.
- Adhere to 5S standards, including maintaining a clean work area.
- Follow Safety, Environmental, and Quality policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
