About The Position

The Operator 2 performs routine warehouse material-handling tasks, moving materials, parts, assemblies, finished products, or goods within a plant, office, or warehouse. The role uses equipment such as forklifts, conveyors, cranes, handcarts, and power trucks, and may include maintaining records. The employee develops skills in basic tasks and procedures within a work area, follows clearly defined SOPs and quality guidelines, and works under general to limited supervision.

This position is on the second shift, Monday through Friday, from 4:00 p.m. to 12:20 a.m. The pay rate is $18.00 per hour. A high school diploma or GED is required. Candidates must complete a drug test and wear safety shoes. Interviews are conducted in person.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Zero to one year of warehouse experience or related experience and/or training.
• Obtain and/or maintain appropriate licenses, training, or certifications as needed.
• Basic skills training in an analytical/scientific method or operational process area, such as material handling and management, logistics, or manufacturing production.
• Effective communication skills sufficient to communicate with coworkers and a Team Lead or Supervisor.
• Ability to read, write, interpret, and comprehend documents written in XX and perform basic math calculations.
• Ability to work in a metrics-driven environment.
• General computer skills.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting and/or moving over 50 pounds.
• Pass a drug test.
• Wear safety shoes.
