Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Basic math, timekeeping, and documentation skills
- Ability to make logical decisions in a production environment
- Ability to lift, push, pull, or move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, stoop, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift
- Willingness to work weekends, holidays, overtime, and changing production schedules
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a food manufacturing or production environment
- Experience operating packaging or automated production equipment
- Familiarity with metal detectors, labeling systems, and case packing equipment
- Understanding of HACCP, GMPs, and food safety practices
- Experience training or supporting other operators
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor packing, labeling, and metal detection equipment to ensure safe, accurate, and efficient packaging
- Ensure products meet all food safety, legality, and quality specifications, including HACCP and GMP requirements
- Maintain a consistent flow of finished goods to palletizing and shipping operations
- Perform equipment setup, changeovers, adjustments, and troubleshooting to minimize downtime and waste
- Complete all required production and quality documentation accurately and on time
- Communicate effectively with Production, Quality Assurance, Maintenance, Sanitation, and Shipping teams
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area to support safe operations
