About The Position

We are seeking a Operator 2, Bakery-Mixing - 1st Shift to join our team at our Van Nuys, CA bakery. As a Operator 2, Bakery-Mixing - 1st Shift, you will be accountable for accurately preparing, scaling, and mixing ingredients according to approved recipes to ensure consistent dough quality, food safety compliance, and efficient production operations.

Requirements

High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
Ability to accurately follow recipes, work instructions, and food safety standards
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
Ability to work in a food production environment with temperature-controlled and sanitation-regulated conditions
Ability to safely lift and handle materials weighing up to 50 pounds
Ability to safely move wheeled dough bowls weighing approximately 1,000 pounds
Ability to work weekends as required

Nice To Haves

Experience in food manufacturing, baking, or mixing operations
Familiarity with dough mixing equipment and related production machinery
Experience working with Rheon Lines
Experience documenting production, batching, or mixing records
Knowledge of food safety regulations, GMPs, and sanitation practices

Responsibilities

Prepare and scale ingredients accurately according to approved recipes and production requirements
Operate mixing equipment to achieve required dough quality, consistency, and temperature standards
Monitor dough characteristics and make adjustments to support product quality expectations
Coordinate mixing activities with production capacity requirements and operational schedules
Maintain ingredient inventory organization, storage accuracy, and material availability
Document production and mixing data accurately to support traceability and operational effectiveness
Support food safety, quality, and sanitation standards through compliance with established procedures
