About The Position
Join our dynamic distribution team as an Operator 1, Forklift, where your expertise ensures the safe and efficient movement of products throughout our facility. This hands-on opportunity is ideal for experienced forklift operators eager to grow within a leading logistics environment.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of relevant forklift operation experience
- Proficient with high reach or counterbalance equipment
- Able to obtain forklift certification within 2 days of employment
- Comfortable using RF scanners and basic computer systems
- Strong initiative, organizational skills, and attention to detail
- Capable of reading and interpreting distribution documents in English
- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive motions
Nice To Haves
- Manhattan WMS experience
- High school diploma or GED
Responsibilities
- Safely transport palletized products throughout the distribution center, including unloading, put-away, picking, loading, and replenishment
- Operate high reach, counterbalance, electric pallet jack, and dock stocker equipment to support daily operations
- Use RF scanners and WMS technology to track and maintain inventory accuracy
- Uphold strict product integrity and safety standards while performing all tasks
- Adhere to site safety procedures and consistently wear required PPE
- Cross-train in other warehouse functions and provide support as needed
