About The Position
We are seeking an Operator 1 – Sanitation to join our team at our bakery in Ontario, CA. As an Operator 1 – Sanitation, you will be accountable for maintaining a clean, safe, and food‑safe facility by performing daily sanitation activities that support production, quality, and regulatory compliance. Shift & Schedule Shift: 3rd Hours: 10:00PM – 6:30AM Weekend availability: Required Compensation Hourly Rate: $23.00 – $24.00
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 1–3 years of manufacturing sanitation experience
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to safely use tools
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to learn multiple sanitation tasks and procedures
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual in Spanish
- Experience in food manufacturing or bakery environments
- Familiarity with dry and wet sanitation cleaning methods
- Experience using sanitation chemicals and documentation systems
Responsibilities
- Perform daily sanitation activities to ensure plant, equipment, and grounds meet food safety and cleanliness standards
- Execute dry and wet cleaning procedures in accordance with established sanitation programs and instructions
- Safely use and maintain sanitation chemicals, tools, and equipment
- Complete required sanitation documentation accurately and consistently (KLEANZ forms)
- Manage time effectively to meet assigned cleaning schedules and productivity expectations
- Maintain accountability for sanitation tools, equipment, and materials
- Support sanitation leadership by completing assigned tasks and contributing to team success
