If you’re ready to grow with us, we’d love to hear from you. We are seeking an Operator 1, Bakery-Production to join our team at our Swedesboro, NJ bakery. As an Operator 1, you will be accountable for supporting production line operations, ensuring continuous product flow, and maintaining quality, safety, and cleanliness standards essential to efficient bakery production.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in a fast-paced production environment
Basic math and problem-solving skills
Ability to communicate clearly in English (verbal and written)
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs
Willingness to work flexible shifts as assigned
Strong commitment to safety, GMP compliance, and teamwork

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in a fast-paced production, bakery, or packaging environment
Experience working with food safety standards (GMP or similar)
Familiarity with basic manufacturing or production equipment
Demonstrated attention to detail and quality control
Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

Support production line operations by assisting with equipment setup, startup, and shutdown activities
Monitor product flow and identify, escalate, and document process deviations or issues
Maintain consistent material supply to production lines to ensure uninterrupted workflow
Perform basic quality checks and uphold product standards during production
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment in compliance with GMP and safety standards
Operate basic equipment and tools (e.g., pallet jacks) safely and effectively
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to support operational efficiency and continuous improvement
