About The Position

Aspire Bakeries is seeking an Operator 1, Bakery-Packaging for its bakery in Cayce, South Carolina. The role supports packaging operations by operating equipment, ensuring product quality, and maintaining safe, efficient production. The operator helps deliver bakery products that meet production, food safety, and customer standards.

This position is scheduled for the first shift, 4:00 AM to 12:30 PM, with weekend availability required. The work takes place in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and may involve hot, cold, wet, frozen, dusty, and loud conditions.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math calculations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and adapt to changing production demands.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, and perform repetitive physical activities throughout the shift.
• Ability to work in hot, cold, wet, frozen, dusty, and loud environments, including weekends, holidays, and overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and adjust packaging equipment to ensure products meet specifications and production requirements.
• Monitor product quality and food safety standards throughout the packaging process.
• Package bakery products using manual and automated processes to meet production goals.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas in compliance with GMP and safety standards.
• Communicate equipment, quality, safety, and production concerns to appropriate team members.
• Follow schedules, run orders, and established procedures to support efficient production.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve operational and performance objectives.
