About The Position

We are on a mission to give patients the care they deserve by making it easy to navigate the healthcare system. Aviator aims to become the entry point into the healthcare system for every family. We are building a care coordination system driven by human healthcare experts and AI to help every patient access the necessary care to live a longer, healthier life. We’re backed by leading investors including Chemistry + founders and executives from Doordash, Assort Health, Tennr, Nourish, OpenAI, Applied Compute, Medallion, Formation Bio, and more. See more about how we operate: https://www.aviatorhealth.ai About the Role We've found that ex-founders thrive here because this role is a startup inside a startup. You'll own products end-to-end, from talking to patients about what's broken, to defining the solution, to shipping it, to iterating in production. There's no committee - you define the roadmap. You'll work directly with the CEO on the hardest, most consequential problems we have: how do you make a complex, high-stakes healthcare workflow feel effortless? How do you build agentic systems that handle real clinical logistics reliably? How do you ship a world-class consumer health product from scratch? This role is in person in New York City, 5 days / week.

Requirements

  • 2-4+ years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, private equity, or strategy/operations at a high-growth startup.
  • Extremely high agency: you see what needs to happen and you make it happen. You don't ask for permission or wait for direction. You are the person who, when something falls through the cracks, picks it up before anyone notices.
  • Strong analytical background: fluent in Excel/Sheets, can build a model from scratch, comfortable making data-driven recommendations.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity: our stage means priorities shift. You don't need a perfectly defined role to thrive. You need interesting problems and the autonomy to solve them.
  • Interested in healthcare: you don't need to be a healthcare expert, but you should be genuinely curious about the space. It's complex, consequential, and full of unsolved problems.

Nice To Haves

  • SQL is a bonus.

Responsibilities

  • Own and drive cross-functional projects from scoping to execution to measurement.
  • If something is broken or unowned, it's yours.
  • Build operating infrastructure: meeting cadences, OKRs, dashboards, process documentation, board and investor materials.
  • Support growth and go-to-market: run experiments, analyze channels, build outreach materials, manage vendor and partner relationships.
  • Build financial and analytical frameworks: models, unit economics, scenario analyses, data cuts that drive decisions.
  • Create high-quality written materials: decks, memos, partnership proposals, and more.

Benefits

  • Company Equity: We are all owners and provide generous company equity.
  • No BS: Nothing in your way to own your work. We are always honest with one another and act in the best interest of the company's success, not individual feelings.
  • Exponential Growth: Growth drives everything, including careers. Everyone at Aviator receives mentorship from our team investors, and advisors. You will have endless opportunities to drive incredible impact, flex diverse skillsets, and scale your career trajectory.
  • Elite Team: Our team is composed of elite performers. We elevate and 10x each other to drive the greatest impact.
