About The Position

SPX is a diverse team of unique individuals who all make an impact. As an Operations Warehouse Admin, you will assist the inventory control team in documenting / updating / creating SOPs by functional areas within the warehouse. You will be involved in updating inventory part records in regard to obsolescence.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of MRP systems, production control and inventory control.
  • Microsoft Office suite experience.
  • Associate’s degree required.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with fundamental warehouse procedures.
  • Lean manufacturing experience, including 5S.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to Supply Chain and Warehouse teams in the execution of technical activities associated with process improvements, such as: SOP documentation / updating, Part usage analysis, Warehouse design and layout, Kitting of parts for manufacturing and assembly.
  • Learn and perform testing to enhance system usage and support execution of material movement throughout two warehouse locations.
  • Assist in obsolescence review / removal from inventory and system update.
  • Lead other projects as assigned.
