About The Position

Leidos is seeking an experienced Mid-Level Operations Technician to manage and support complex operational systems. The role involves independently performing maintenance and operational tasks to maintain optimal system performance, troubleshoot technical issues, monitor system performance, and respond to anomalies. Requirements

TS/SCI with Poly clearance is required.
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
2–5 years of experience in operations, maintenance, or technical support.
Strong understanding of industrial, mechanical, or electrical systems.
Proficiency with diagnostic tools, software, and technical documentation.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

Certifications such as OSHA, HVAC, electrical, or mechanical certifications.
Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures.
Strong leadership skills, with experience managing teams and driving accountability.
Ability to solve problems quickly and make decisions under pressure.
Comfort working across multiple systems and managing real-time operations.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on operational equipment and systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
Monitor system performance, analyze data, and implement improvements.
Document maintenance activities, operational procedures, system changes, and reports.
Assist in training junior staff and onboarding new team members.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Support project initiatives and system upgrades as needed.
Respond to anomalies.
Read schematics, technical drawings, and system manuals.
Collaborate with team members to improve operational efficiency.
