About The Position
In this dynamic role, you’ll work hands-on with high-speed, automated filling equipment, packaging lubricants into containers up to 340 gallons. You’ll play a vital role in maintaining production flow by inspecting products and machinery, keeping a clean and organized work area, and expertly setting up and operating equipment.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Able to lift 40 pounds regularly
- Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
- Able to work in a group setting or independently
- Good problem-solving skills and basic mathematical skills
- Able to troubleshoot basic machine problems
Responsibilities
- Assist in the setup and operation of automated machines on assigned line.
- Understand and perform regular quality checks. This includes 5-minute and 30-minute quality checks.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and report equipment defects/malfunctions, safety issues/concerns, and quality concerns immediately to management.
- Know filling instructions and appropriately complete associated paperwork, from start to finish.
- Make boxes, dump bottles, pack PAG cans, stack pails, and operate automatic pallet jacks as needed, while regularly lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 40 pounds.
