About The Position

This role is for an Operations Technician at the Columbia, MO plant, known as the home of Oscar Mayer Hot Dogs. The position involves processing and handling of raw meat (beef, pork, and poultry), following directives to ensure quality product while maintaining safety standards, and troubleshooting to minimize downtime. Daily sanitation and cleaning are also key responsibilities, along with processing supervised documentation.

Requirements

At least 18-years of age
1-year of continuous prior employment
Able to stand for entire 12-hour shift.
Able to work in cold/wet environment.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs. bend, carry, push, and pull.
Ability to satisfactorily complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Must have a valid State-issued photo ID.
Must have reliable transportation for any possible shift.
Required to remove all jewelry, gauges, facial piercings, fake nails, fake eyelashes, and nail polish (even clear) before starting employment.

Responsibilities

Processing and handling of raw meat including beef, pork and poultry.
Follow directives to ensure quality product while maintaining safety standards.
Troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
Daily sanitation work and cleaning.
Processing of supervised documentation.
