As a Deburr Tech at Orchid, you’ll work with your hands and microscopes to perfect orthopedic parts used in life-changing medical devices.
Requirements
- No previous work experience required
- Must be able to safely and accurately follow all work instructions and process
- Must be able to move equipment
- Must be able to clearly communicate and exchange information with others
- Must have good hand/eye coordination and dexterity to manipulate small parts/tools
- Must be able to distinguish and detect information such as writing and defects
- Must be able to perform tasks that require repetitive handling/adjusting/inspecting/positioning of items and equipment

Responsibilities
- Use a microscope and small knives/hand tools to remove burrs (rough edges, curls, or ridges caused by machining) from small parts like screws.
- Use measuring tools (calipers, gauges, comparators) to check for dimensional accuracy.
- Follow all safety and work procedures carefully.
- Keep your work area clean and organized.
- Report equipment or material issues to your supervisor or lead.
