About The Position

Under the direction of the assigned supervisor, the Service Technician installs, repairs, and operates equipment in support of the services Polygon US provides to its customers, while demonstrating Polygon’s values of Integrity, Excellence, and Empathy. Polygon’s services include Temporary Climate Solutions and Emergency Drying Services. The technician sets up, maintains, and demobilizes temporary climate-control equipment at project sites. When not assigned to a project, the technician uses downtime to maintain and prepare equipment for upcoming projects. The role involves physical duties and may require overtime and short-notice travel, sometimes for extended periods, typically one to three weeks. Polygon-provided training requirements must be completed within the first six months of employment.

Requirements

Basic knowledge of electrical systems, HVAC, and basic mechanical skills.
Ability to perform duties that are physical in nature.
Willingness to work overtime as needed and travel on short notice, sometimes for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

A minimum of two years of technical school or two years of on-the-job experience in a related field is preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

Set up, maintain, and demobilize temporary climate-control equipment on project sites.
During downtime between assigned projects, maintain and prepare equipment for upcoming projects.
Complete Polygon-provided training requirements within the first six months of employment.
Travel on short notice when needed, sometimes for extended periods of typically one to three weeks.
Work overtime when needed.
