About The Position
Installs, inspects, tests, maintains, and repairs distribution protection and control equipment. The role involves working mainly outdoors, with some general office work, and may require travel to job sites and work after hours, including weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Install, calibrate, adjust, program, repair, troubleshoot, and inspect distribution protection and control equipment.
- Set up and maintain inspection and testing records for distribution protection and control equipment.
- Maintain an inventory of repair parts for equipment and controls.
- Observe all safety rules and regulations.
- Indirectly supervise trainees and contractors on occasion.
- Participate in formal training programs to improve job knowledge and technical skills when available.
- Perform other duties, tasks, and special projects as assigned.
