About The Position

The Operations Team Lead drives sales and delivers a positive customer experience by receiving and processing inbound deliveries accurately and efficiently, ensuring new merchandise is customer ready. The role leads the team in preparing and completing outbound shipments, replenishing store supplies, and maintaining store facilities. Working collaboratively with merchandising, omni, and selling teams, the Operations Team Lead supports operational excellence and store objectives. This is an hourly position with monthly bonus eligibility.

Availability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to regularly move around all store areas and remain accessible to customers.
Ability to bend, reach, and stretch for product, as well as lift, carry, and move at least 40 lbs.
Ability to push or pull receiving equipment weighing up to 500 lbs.

Responsibilities

Take ownership and initiative in achieving store objectives and key metrics.
Execute store shipment deliveries and lead the team in accurately and efficiently processing product to maximize productivity.
Maintain equipment, devices, communication boards, and back-of-house organization to promote efficiency.
Communicate daily goals and key tasks, and model behaviors that build team knowledge and improve operational results.
Use shipment systems and tools to plan and execute inbound and outbound activities.
Participate in weekly leadership workload planning meetings to ensure operational tasks are planned and scheduled.
Lead shortage control and inventory accuracy in designated areas by acknowledging manifests, executing product transfers, and processing damaged items promptly.
Build team knowledge of inventory management, asset protection procedures, safety guidelines, and security protocols.
Track store supply usage and place replenishment orders to maintain adequate levels.
Support facilities processes, including lighting and recycling programs, work orders, store maintenance, and housekeeping.
Adapt to changing circumstances, adjusting tactics and shifting resources in response to updated forecasts and business needs.
Support team performance through onboarding, teaching opportunities, and continued associate learning.
Promote associate engagement, share team successes, and celebrate associate achievements.
Foster a positive store culture where team members understand their roles in achieving store goals and feel valued.
Support the in-store customer experience by providing excellent customer service and assisting the store during key coverage periods.
