About The Position

Eurofins Agroscience Services (EAS) is seeking a temporary, full time Technician to work with our Sample Milling team in Columbia, MO. This role involves using appropriate software applications to track receipt, storage, use, expiration, disposal, return, and/or archiving of test materials. The technician will receive, create IDs, log-in, and store materials upon receipt, and move or transfer materials between departments, checking them in and out as requested by study personnel while maintaining proper paperwork. Responsibilities also include returning, disposing, or archiving materials at study finalization, ensuring adherence to SOPs, Good Laboratory Practices, CGMP, and relevant regulations for quarantined matrices, genetically altered crops, and all materials/samples. The role requires maintaining accurate and legible documentation, performing routine calibration of balances, and assisting in unloading trucks and storing materials appropriately.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Uses appropriate software applications to track receipt, storage, use, expiration, disposal, return, and/or archiving of test materials.
• Receives, creates IDs, logs-in, and stores materials upon receipt.
• Moves or transfers materials from one department to another.
• Checks materials in and out as requested by study personnel.
• Maintains proper paperwork.
• Returns, disposes, or archives materials at study finalization.
• Ensures all current SOPs, Good Laboratory Practices, Current Good Manufacturing Processes (CGMP), and/or relevant regulations (USDA, DOT, EPA, MDNR, OSHA, FDA, etc.) for quarantined matrices; genetically altered crops, and all materials/samples are followed.
• Maintains accurate and legible required documentation.
• Performs routine tasks for calibration of balances.
• Assists in unloading trucks and storing materials appropriately.
