About The Position

This role focuses on managing safety programs, delivering training, and supporting field operations within a construction environment. The coordinator will act as a subject matter expert (SME) for critical safety areas such as fall protection and dropped object prevention. They will be responsible for administering safety processes, conducting inspections and audits, and coaching employees and leaders on safety best practices and continuous improvement. Additionally, the role involves mentoring personnel and supporting career development within construction operations.

Requirements

Subject Matter Expert (SME) for fall protection programs.
Experience with harness assembly, issuance, inspection, maintenance, and disassembly.
Experience conducting and managing quarterly harness inspections.
Subject Matter Expert (SME) for tool tethering and dropped object prevention programs.
Experience administering and managing the Mission Planning Worksheet (MPW) process.
Experience delivering training programs related to fall protection, tool tethering, and MPWs.
Experience coaching employees on hazard recognition, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies.
Experience providing leadership coaching and developing leadership competencies.
Experience mentoring personnel and providing learning opportunities.
Experience conducting field audits and safety observations in various work environments (ground-level, elevated, equipment operations, etc.).
Experience assessing compliance with safety procedures.
Experience identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in safety.
Ability to support project leadership in maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Responsibilities

Serve as the site SME for fall protection programs, including harness assembly, issuance, inspection, maintenance, and disassembly.
Conduct and manage quarterly harness inspections.
Serve as the SME for tool tethering and dropped object prevention programs.
Administer and manage the Mission Planning Worksheet (MPW) process to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
Deliver training programs related to fall protection, fall lab activities, tool tethering, small tools safety, and Mission Planning Worksheets (MPWs).
Coach employees on hazard recognition, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies to improve project safety performance.
Provide leadership coaching and support development of leadership competencies among team members.
Mentor personnel and provide learning opportunities that support career growth and advancement in construction operations.
Conduct field audits and safety observations in ground-level work areas, elevated work locations, equipment operations, spotter and flagger activities, and other project work environments.
Assess compliance with safety procedures and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Support project leadership in maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
