Operations Support Specialist
About The Position
TranSource Truck & Equipment, Inc. is a growing company representing Mack Trucks, Volvo Trucks and Volvo Construction Equipment, along with being the Servicing Dealer for multiple other product lines that support the On Highway, Construction and Agriculture Industry. We are seeking a versatile, hands-on team member to support daily operations across our parts, service, and sales departments. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their workday, takes initiative, and is comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. The Operations Support Specialist will assist with inventory management, equipment preparation, basic service tasks, and sales documentation.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Basic mechanical aptitude (ability to perform minor service work)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. and work in a physically active environment
- Valid driver’s license required
- Forklift experience (or willingness to become certified)
- Applicant should have a valid driver's license, an insurable driving record and must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a mechanical, warehouse, or equipment environment preferred
- Forklift experience
- Familiarity with equipment, parts inventory systems, or service operations
Responsibilities
- Receive, organize, and stock incoming parts and materials
- Maintain a clean, accurate, and well-organized parts area
- Assist with inventory counts and tracking
- Prepare and complete Bills of Lading for equipment sales and rentals
- Assist with staging and coordinating outgoing equipment
- Support sales team with general administrative and logistical tasks
- Perform basic maintenance tasks such as oil changes, fluid checks, and minor repairs
- Clean, inspect, and prepare equipment for rental or delivery
- Assist service technicians as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized shop and yard
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Provide general support across departments as business needs require
