About The Position

CorrectHealth is a multi-disciplinary medical organization that provides high quality, cost-effective, comprehensive healthcare inside the walls of correctional facilities. The foundation of our company was established by a group of talented ER professionals. Brick by brick, we have been building our company from the ground up. In doing so, we have developed the right way - the "Correct Way" as we like to call it - of providing correctional healthcare. Currently, CorrectHealth provides high quality, cost-effective, comprehensive healthcare services inside the walls of more than 40 correctional facilities throughout Georgia and Louisiana. The Operations Support Nurse is responsible for providing clinical oversight, direct patient care, management of regulatory and contractual compliance along with serving as a champion for continuous quality improvement. A critical focus of this role places emphasis on ensuring a high standard of performance as established by NCCHC, ACA and other accrediting agencies.

Requirements

Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Minimum of 3 years experience in Emergency Department, Critical Care, or similar setting.
Current BLS
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
Proficiency with electronic health records.
Must meet security clearance requirements.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
ACLS certification.
Correctional healthcare experience.
Clinical educator or preceptor experience.
Leadership or charge nurse background.
Certified Correctional Health Professional (CCHP).
